Beginning Steps after Interview

Additional Requirements

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
  • Applicant must be flexible; 24 hours required per month
  • Applicant must be a high school graduate or have GED
  • No criminal charges above Class B Misdemeanor, within 7 years
  • No family violence convictions - no exceptions will be made
  • Must not have been held under police investigation at any point​
  • Complete health assessment, due to handling content
  • Must work on current investigations without biased stance
  • Applicant must be willing to complete training within 4 days

The Cyber Crime Response Agency accepts volunteer applications throughout the year. The main goal of a volunteer is to assist victims of crime with finding a satisfactory resolution, as well as law enforcement with the successful apprehension of online criminals.
